When SCP 1471 (the MalO v1.0.0 app) is downloaded to a device, a new, unique instance of SCP 1471-1 (the skull-faced canid figure) is created, but only the one who downloaded the app can see their MalO instance. If you don't talk to anyone about MalO and don't show anyone the pictures MalO sent you, nobody would know you had MalO.

However in the case of this hypnotic instance, it'd be clear to outside observers that something strange is going on.

@the second anon, that implies that there could be dozens if not hundreds of them out there, which raises another question, what if 2 MalO instances encounter each other? This thing feels like a nightmare to try to contain.
