Okay I don't want to be that guy but one of the MANY gripes I have with the Sun & Moon anime is that they changed the Dark Pulse animation. Masaaki Iwane is one of my favorite animators like ever but man he did such an awful/banged up job animating Umbreon's Dark Pulse and it bothers me so so much.

And speaking of Masaaki Iwane I just didn't like his works in SM anime series in general and I personal prefer his older works like Diamond & Pearl series (and to keep it relevant to the hub he's animated that one DP episode where Ash's and Co Pokemon got mind controlled by a literal evil wild Togepi but that's a conversation for another time) and even the Ruby & Sapphire (yeah that's right I liked the thunder armor episode and it deserves to be acknowledged) and while I'm not an XY shill his work in XY is pretty great and very consistent.

Sorry for venting about SM like that. I just feel like it's "safe" for me to get that off my chest unlike other websites with forums where my opinions aren't "welcomed".

@/AnonymousBrainwash Forget the name, that Dark Pulse animation disappoints me. No way I can be the only one who doesn't like the way Dark Pulse is animated.

I know a majority of the fandom doesn't like the art style in SM anime and yes while I did like the animation quality in SM, stuff like that Dark Pulse animation just upsets me.
