After the close encounter in the showers of the leisure centre, Viper set several plans in motion.

[spoileLonger term goals were given to her first two pets, Maya & Lotus (C.Viper & Chun-Li), which would serve their owner's new desire for security while hunting. Not that Viper feared for her own safety if humans outside her control did discover her, but she was becoming attached to her growing harem, Maya, and by extension Lauren, especially. So, a secure hunting ground to lure in new pets was essential.

However, for Viper and her latest pet Ty Lee, there was the matter of Ty Lee's fascinating friend; Toph. Ty Lee informed her Mistress of Toph's talents with Earthbending fighting technique; a use of channeling her ki to manipulate the earth. The girl, blind from birth, had used her innate talent to control her ki to effectively 'see' through her feet and had then taught herself to control the ground beneath her in a limited fashion to fight. Toph had forged herself into a formidable young woman, even against her rich parent's wishes and was already climbing her way through the very Street Fighter circuit rankings to challenge seasoned warriors like Chun-Li, Cammy White or Crimson Viper.

Needless to say, it made Viper desire Toph Beifong all the more.

Ty Lee's hand trembled with each needle she placed in her close friend's skin. Or rather, she would take one acupuncture needle, follow the guide her Mistress was holding in her tail and then Ty Lee's hand would tremble as the needle point hovered over Toph's Ki point. Then as Viper would focus her hypnotic gaze over Ty Lee's dominated mind, her hand would steady and pierced the skin precisely so as to not leave any other mark. Even under her owner's intense stare, Ty Lee didn't want to hurt Toph...

Toph was one of her best friends. They had started out on opposite sides of a family rivalry, not even their own families. But now, they were close friends and trusted one another, supported one another.

Ty Lee hoped Toph would not feel betrayed by her submission to Mistress Viper's will. Mistress Viper had treated her well. Rewarded her obedience, coiled around her lovingly, and praised her abilities...

Ty Lee hoped Toph would enjoy being Mistress Viper's pet with her...[/spoile

Wait...if Toph can "see" through her feet, wouldn't she know Viper was a snake when she came into the room? I'm not familiar with the whole thing cuz I didn't really watch Avatar, but it just seems like Toph would have an opportunity to figure out Viper's true nature by now

@TheFinalAnubis: The thing is, Toph's senses are based on vibrations; if something is in the air or cushioned in some way, she can't tell what it is or where, likewise there are things like orientation of objects that she can't always guess at accurately. Given Viper's size and the way she moves? It actually strikes me as quite plausible she could elude Toph's senses, especially given her own skills as a Kung-Fu Master.

Starting point; sorry for the double description. Seems there something about rs and ]s I need to figure out. Anyway

@TheFinalAnubis: The logic is that in ATLA, Tophs Earthbending and vibration sensor ability are basically god levels. Here, they are superpower level but not where she can literally sense nearly everything via the ground or destroying buildings with little effort.

In the shower, she could hear Viper moaning, but couldnt properly register the snake body on the ground or Viper coiled around Ty Lee. This was due to the water noise and trusting Ty Lee. She could still sense the shower room outline and the fact that Ty Lee was sitting with her. Here, Viper has deliberately rested on the stool, Toph could sense the stool and extra weight on it when she came in, but not the snake body. Then, shes gotten off her feet, which is an ultimate act of trust with Ty Lee.

@MasterofDisaster: That is my logic, plus the extra notch that Toph is not god level in this amalgam universe. her powers are balanced for the Street Fighter series ^^;

Theres something oddly wholesome about Ty Lee still worrying about hurting Toph.
