I realise the point, yet I look at this, and think "What's with the MK4 Shinnok movement with the Bad Man here?"

In this world, there are two main forces.
The forces of the divine dragon and of the fell dragon. There is a main source power called the emblem rings. Inside there is housing the souls of the previous lords of the Fire Emblem series. The fell dragon (Sombrom) can corrupt them and make them doing what he wishes. Alear, the main protag, became over the story also like the rest of the emblem rings. Therefore, she could get corrupted when she got defeated (therefore why she is red).
The other woman Veyle has a second personality she won over before. The crown corrupt her too and made her evil personality come out again (and making her more mature lol).

As an result:
Alear is a corrupt Emblem forced to do what evil Veyle wants (hence the ring on her finger).

Ok so first, the bad end has already been posted on here. But for fuchstritt. The creepy thing about the ending is that is ISNT the evil Veyle who's in control at the end. She doesn't have the red eyes evil veyle did

This merely leaves the question: "So what happens now?" (Usually you add 'Gloat?' to that, but he is.) Everyone's dead, it's not clear if anything's going on...

That eye thing that was pointed out. Makes me wonder, was that eye color done for out benefit to tell it's the evil version? When Zehia tossed the ring to her did she not notice no red eye? Since everyone lost does this mean even though she doesn't have the red eyes (going along the train of thinking that everyone else does see this difference) did the good version permanently go away and only the evil remains? Thus she now only has her normal eye color since there is only one inhabitant in that mind? Or was it just a developer oversight? So many questions...oh well. I still believe it is an evil version of her, don't think Sombron would keep around the good version but that is just me.

Tbh... I think it's an ending that doesn't make any sense in the context of the final chapter.

Sombron would just kill them and move on, but he spends probably 1k years waiting for Alear to wake. With Veyle its ambiguous as to whether this is a new personality, or the remains of her personality
