Since, in the first vote, there were so many willing to backtrack down the first left path that it almost ended in a tie between approaching the minotaur and backtracking, it was more convenient to take that into effect after denying the minotaur's offer, rather than to poll everyone again.

This won't happen every time, of course, I don't want it to feel like I'm deciding things for the audience, but since little changed about the situation, I didn't think responses would change much on a re-poll.

Going back to the minotaur is not an option anymore. Was a risky deal before, surely would be overtly bad next time.
And while being an obedient pussy licking puppy would be fun, likely not a winning strategy.
