I found that when you upload a picture for the first time and you use the 'hold' tag, it just uploads your image without any tags (so by default, tagme is on there.) You need to quickly go to the newly uploaded post THEN add 'hold' for it to work.

This should have been fixed weeks ago. I implemented the fix, myself. I also just used the hold feature minutes ago. Are you sure this is still happening in some cases?

I just tried to upload a picture with only the 'hold' tag just now, this is what I got
hypnohub.net/post/show/17468

If it helps it said something about no service selected/no local service after the upload.

I did the same just now, and it worked flawlessly: post #17511

Are you sure it's not actually holding? I mean, you'll always be brought to the post's page. It'll just not show up in the main post list and, on the post's page, you'll see a message saying: "This post has been temporarily held from the index by the poster. (activate this post)".

If it's not holding for you: what browser (and version) are you using?

Yeah, I'm not sure why it does that. But it's not only done when posting, and it's not actually a very new bug. It also has been completely harmless in most cases. I get that particular popup frame a lot when doing various things, but nothing bad has come of it and everything has worked when it appears. The only reason I haven't reported that to the developer is because I can't make rhyme or reason of when and why it appears.
