Sorry for the spoilers but I do want to rant cause a certain discord server wont let me.

Pokmon Horizons episode 14. Context: Creepy dude uses his Beheeyem to hypnotizes Liko to forget her pendant and her comrades too. Including her Sprigatito.

Uhhyoud think Id be all for this because Yes Liko got hypnotized officially and its on the hub oh yeah but then I realized that Liko being easily manipulated like this makes her seem weak minded. A Pokmon like Beheeyem can just instantly rewrite someones memories is just plain creepy. Like how do you defend yourself from something like that? And never get your old memories ever again. Its jarring to me. And it bothers me more that I cant upload the video of this scene onto the hub because it got corrupted. So hopefully someone else can handle it better than I can.

Anyways Im getting to deep/analytical about this. Horizons is a good show so far but this episode and the way this episode ended left a sour taste in my mouth.

Liko really is a sexy idiot. Hypnotized so easily by Simon Says color. Weak will indeed. Does she remember her Pokmon cat though? Cause thats pretty stupid if Judy one dose of hypnosis does that.

Oh my god, would you people STOP with the "weak will" shit? "LOL, she was hypnotized so easily by a magical creature with powers beyond human understanding LOL what an idiot!" If somebody on the show got obliterated by a Hyper Beam, would you be calling them a wimp for not just tanking it? Stop acting like a person's "will" means anything when going up against magical powers that work as well as the writers need them to work.

You complain after we already had Misty hypnotized to be a Seel, Brock and James super simping for a ghost girl that was a Gastly, Ash being brought under by Exeggcute, everyone in XY except Ash got easily hypnotized by Malamar including Clemont who's an inventor/genius for his age and Lusamine's mind that got taken over by other universe jellyfish.

Probably forgot a few but this take ain't it.

All this "lmao weak will" rambling is distracting from the fact that his group has just secured the plot device pendant and gotten away with it, scot free, in just the 14th episode. This is already more success than the Rocket trio achieved as actual antagonists in their 1,000 episode tenure.

Ash was lucky that he never had to deal with such competent baddies on a regular basis, that's for damn sure.
