The Church of Mara seems to be winning pretty hard when it comes to the battle for the group's minds. Etta is a full-blown vessel for their deity, and the others are thoroughly under the collective's control. The Mara brainwashing seems to have ignored any of the conditioning Faber/Gemma and Hypno did to Natsume and Rina respectively, though that could just be a matter of those directives not contradicting yet. Most impressively, Etta even managed to brainwash Chelsea while the headmaster was directly controlling her and attempting to do the same to Etta. I think the faction closest to that level of control over the party is Hypno, who has thoroughly brainwashed both Chelsea and Rina, but it's unclear if her brainwashing has managed to take precedence over the nanomachines. I wonder if the other factions are going to make similar gains soon. Funnily enough, the only other entity that has managed to control all four of the girls so far was the inn's hot tub.

Oh my, yes. Lots of things to establish.

I think one thing to keep in mind is that though all of the "manipulators" compete against each other, they're all part of the same faction.
Some of them aren't even interested in controlling all of the party members, Faber being an obvious one.
They also have their own rules to abide by, and perhaps a certain authority they answer to...
*cough* *Master Council* *cough*
