Anyone think its kind of weird that its the Jedi who manipulate peoples minds with the force and not the Sith?

Or am I just missing something obvious cause I only know Star Wars from osmosis?

The Jedi use force persuasion to avoid open conflict the majority of the time. The Sith developed more powerful versions of the same force power to corrupt and twist people to their service.
