Why sign Ai art?

Also typically here ai artists put the generator as the artist and put (generator) after their name

It's Ai Art, the generator was the same person that upload the set, although I think quiller tend to edit the picture, redraw and add heads.

So it's not your typical "I write things on the IA and publish the result" and add some extra work.

That sounds a lot like taking work you didn't do and putting your name on it. Isn't there a rule about doing that with manips?

There's also the oddity of signing an AI work because why would you want credit for your work and also be ok with using AI art which uses a lot of other people's work without credit? Remarkably hypocritical

Yeah, this doesn't look at all like something an AI could make all on its own. They clearly used an AI generated image as a base and then made adjustments, added details and wrote the dialogues. That's precisely how a lot of people say this technology should be used: as a tool to speed up or enhance work, rather than as a replacement of the whole process. Honestly, I really like what this artist achieves.

That sounds like tracing or manipping with extra steps.

Be good to get a clear answer. If this isn't AI best not to tag it as such because so many people have that tag blocked. And if it is AI (Even if it's edited afterwards) probably best to do what other AI on the site do and tag yourself as generator and manipper or people will think you drew it

From the Patreon:
I use AI in my process but pics I do are edited by me to get the best quality.

Obviously Qiller is around so they're free to provide further details if they're up to it. (They're apparently under the weather.)

Oh my, what a discussion after I've been posting like this for months with no issues.
I don't really feel the need to change the way I tagg stuff. Yes AI was used. Yes afterwards pic was heavily edited to achieve the result I wanted. My rule is I sign each pic I touched and if there's a problem with that, sorry but gonna keep it as is.
This is not just me inputting prompts and just posting results. Some pics require a total overhaul as AI is really glitchy.
