I just couldn't let this image go, so here's the manip. :3

Those eyes were harder to manip than they looked...

It wasn't (turtley) MC enough for the (turtle) MC club.

Really, I thought it fit right in. True she still had light in her eyes, but she was still acting like a dog while also being nude. somethings Ami is never really known to do.

the problem with that is, most known characters don't have sex either; would you think it was MC if she was kissing another girl, or wearing punk clothes? Porn makes 'what a character would do' unreliable
I still feel the original had MC elements, tho

This. In hentai, even the strictest and straightest of characters become horny bisexual mega-sluts who are into really kinky things without even an ounce of MC. You really just can't go by that.

Possibly. I wouldn't have it in my MC folders, personally, and I'm usually fairly lax about the requirements of an image being considered MC, as I have images there that aren't MC enough for the site because they look or feel MC to me. The potential MC elements of the original image were all far too subtle. It would be very hard to defend disallowing almost any image if that one were to have stayed in its unmanipped form.

In any case, unless you loved the eyes in the original (which I wouldn't blame you if you do, as they were gorgeously done), you all lost nothing in having me manip it to keep it up. I think it was a good solution. :P

I didn't know you could remove one pic and put in another in its place, tags and score transferred to the new

You can. In fact, anybody (who can delete an image - say, the uploader) can, it's not just the admins. ;)

You just need to make the NEW pic the parent of the OLD pic. Then, when you delete the OLD pic, the parent (new) pic will receive everything that is transferred.

Niiiice
& manipulating the eyes was a good solution to both cutting off the pointless argument & keeping the picture, but a part of me is frustrated with the dichotomous standard & bureaucratic thinking it represents
