Wart doesn't get enough attention. He's low-key potentially more powerful than Bowser. he's the nightmare king, and everyone in the mario universe ends up in his realm every night. All he'd have to do is bribe you with whatever fantasy you'd like for the rest of your life and you'd likely do whatever he wants in the real world. and if one of his little nightmares were to possess you or swap places with you, it'd be in control when you woke up.
