Delia knew that the Cerulean Gym Leader had feelings for her son. As well as the times was mean to her son early on, which she never really forgot. Of course, this meant she was sniffing around asking where exactly her son had gotten to, raising eyebrows at the strange looking Pikachu she saw behind Delia in the doorway any time she knocked. So far, no one suspected who the Pikachu was and asked no questions as anyone in that situation would, Misty was the exception.

Thankfully, her "Ashley-Chu" did not count towards her membership privilege in the Evoli Club. She could use this to her advantage. If Misty wanted to be with Ash so bad, she would make sure of it!

Another conversion later and Delia now had a pet Vaporeon to go with her sweetie Pikachu. The confused "Mist-eon" could only yell Vaporeon chants of protest as she witness the way the obsessed mother treated and gave more attention to Ashley-chu, fearing that was her own future as the yellow mouse happily licked her mother's face in happiness. It hurt to walk on all fours and her large tail was the most awkward, a pain in her...you know what. As the days passed like all pets that came from the mysterious club, hunger took her and Mist-eon had to munch down her bowl of Pokefood down her mouth like the creature she was made to look like, her food having a fishy after taste she had to endure.

Soon enough, her body changed and reacted to the food's after effects. Now when Delia showed more affection to her Pikachu, Mist-eon went from scared to egging for attention, yelping to be petted, played with, and taken on walkies together with her fellow rubber friend! Eventually, Delia would give her that attention, the moment she knew her Mist-eon had lost her mind and like the others, was convinced her was always a Vaporeon and nothing more than a pet. There was no way she could ever be a trainer, let alone a Gym Leader, just no way.

While Delia still showed more preference to her yellow mouse, she welcomed her water Pokemon into the family, taking both her fav pets for walkies so often and loving them dearly. This was plentiful for the Ketchum mother, she needed no more pets than her precious Ashley-Chu and her lovely Vaporeon. Finally, she was no longer alone.

Yes, no more pets required for her.....the same could not be said for other club members. ;)
