This kind of stuff doesn't really work on more intelligent beings or on actions that require conscious movement. Everyone misunderstands how the Pavlov response works. If you keep ringing the bell eventually the dog will stop drooling because he won't be giving it food and it will figure out that no food is coming at the sound of the Bell. You have to repeat the reinforcement to keep it working like for every 10 rings of the Bell you still need to give the dog food otherwise it will stop making the correlation.
