If Harley was being honest with her harem, she'd admit that she had never heard of the Star Sapphires before Carol Ferris had bust through the doors of her First Church of Sapphic Sin, a.k.a. Harley's Quinn's HQ. Barbie had filled her in after the fact, and it blew Harley's mind that there weren't Green space cops but whole frikkin' rainbow.
It had been over two years since Carol Ferris had been willing to wear her Star Sapphire, a fact that the Zamorans and the ring itself had not stopped reminding her of since she did. What had spurned into action were apparent abductions of several superheroines over several weeks and months that met little response from the hero contingent in general.
Not for lack of concern, several key male members of the Justice League were off planet (including Hal & John) and incidents between Batman and Joker were being televised almost daily. That was at least Carol's perspective on the public information, what she was unaware of was Big Sister's manipulation of reports and files. Barbie was manufacturing check-ins, and since heroics was not exactly an industry that took roll-call, the hero community was still in the dark about just how many heroines had been heisted from their stressful and dangerous lives. Carol had been drafted in to support the League and the investigations into the disappearances.
The reluctant Star Sapphire had discovered Harley's scheme after tracking three of her beloved Angels back to Zee-Zee's scheduled portal back to the harem's sanctuary.
Faced with the stark reality of the brainwashed heroines and their devotion for their new Mistress, Carol steeled her resolve to fight her way out to come back with reinforcements and mount a rescue... However, the Star Sapphire ring and overlooking Zamaron elders disagreed. The pure and intense love radiated from enthralled heroines rivaled that of fully charged Sapphire battery.
The conclusion reached by the infinitely powerful well of Love that connected the Star Sapphire ring to the Corps: Harley Quinn is an ally of Women and Love.
Harley's Heroine Heist continues...

Art by the superb (and very patient) Banedearg. Taking inspiration from both Carol's canon design in comics and the Star Sapphie cameos in DCAU. Special shoutout to Singory's Harley Lantern Corps for the subtle logo reference.
Here's hoping Harley can steal ring wielders from across the spectrum.
Definitely not my best blurb in the Heist, but I wanted to get this design out there.
