Yeah,pumpkin potion tend to have a classic old school triangle shinny eyes, while these ones are plain black. So yeah, there's mind control.

I am not equipped for that debate, so I'll just say that there's plenty of stuff I've seen on this site that are (to me, TBQH, IMHO, BYOBB) of equal "quality" and equal "depth" of hypnosis content.
