Konnie works at a regular cafe, not a hypnosis-themed one.

The milk tea shop across the street on the other hand is called "The FaciliTea" is drone-themed, but that's a story for a diff time.

But there's been a recent movie in-universe about a space-faring mobile cafe that is staffed purely by hypnotized cyborg bunny girls, who after having outlived their human masters were still left with the want to obey and serve.

So they rigged the ship they are on into a cafe and travel the universe serving and helping anyone they come across in the vast sea of stars.

While also picking up some new co-workers on the way. It's a film about family, friendship, self-discovery, the lust for adventure, and taking charge of your life and how that can be scary.

But anyway, all that to say the cafe Konnie works at had a promo deal with the movie, and when she clocked in today she was told to put on a pretty good recreation of their costumes, which she secretly found hot.

The enthusiasm soon left after realizing there would be no hypnosis today and she's gonna be working in a non-breathable latex suit.

Also kinda related is there a tag for like "pretending to be hypnotized" or "thinks they're hypnotized" really specific but just thought i'd ask, ok if there isn't.

In my head when one of the girls needs a part replaced cuz its gotten too old, they just replace it with more mechanical parts.

So at some point, they either choose to be deactivated or become essentially androids.
