Both simultaneously. Fate rolls the dice for any and all actions or engagements. The commenters merely control changer the characters fate. An unknown force beyond understanding has chosen that the Naga shall be Changers hypnotized servant.

Yeah, the Naga was legit tranced in the previous page. The question mainly is; was what she suddenly realized something that caused her to become "friend", or did an evil plan occur to her?
