This is my first time using props like the pocket watch in a manip, so advice and criticism is appreciated.

If you want my honest two cents, I think it's a big improvement from the pixel pendulum version, but I'm not loving the use of a real pocketwatch too much. Just a bit of a contrast.
I think in the manips prop pack located in the forums (should be searchable), there's a drawn pocketwatch prop. And plenty of yet coins and gems!

The big key to using pendulum props is perspective. If the character is meant to be looking at a prop, the prop needs to not only be where the character is looking, but, since the prop is swinging, also swinging in the direction where the character's eyes would easily follow.
What stands out to me as awkward here is the position and swing direction of the prop. It's positioned a little too far to the side. Generally speaking, a pendulum's chain should be positioned above the head of the character who is looking at it (assuming the image has the character looking toward the viewer, as it is here). If you would have placed the pocketwatch to the other side of her face, with the chain extending above her head and over her hair, I think it'd look a bit more naturally positioned.
The other thing that stands out to me in this manip is that the prop is that the pocketwatch is a "real" object while the image is obviously drawn. This makes the prop stand out far too much when, really, it's meant to fit snugly into the image as though it belongs there. This is hardly your fault, as it can be extremely difficult to find good props, but it's something you should always consider when considering if a specific prop would look good in a particular image.
Beyond that, I just recommend you avoid solid-color fill-in empty eyes. They're a very lazy way to make empty eyes, which really takes away from the intended effect of making them empty to begin with. The lack of shading and the single color both make that type of empty eye stand out, and not in a good way.
I know that a lot of new (or lazy) manippers use this empty eye method, despite its drawbacks. It's so common, in fact, that we legitimately saw fit to make those eyes in empty eye manips explicitly against the content rules. It's not so much a problem here, with this image, since there's far more to it than just a cheap eye edit, but in most cases, manips with eyes like this are pretty much just deleted. I highly recommend avoiding getting used to making eyes like this.

I looked around for that but didn't see one. I'll check again once I'm done with studying though!

Yeah, I agree. I actually didn't see that the eyes were so bad on this one cause when I made it I wasn't wearing my glasses. I'll take another shot at this picture and try to fix that.
