All of these cheap power fantasies involving dragons seem to have... well, incredibly inelegant dragons, bereft of their interlocutionary talents, intellect, and cleverness. Easy targets.
It does much to split my suspension of disbelief in twain, they're merely dim-witted lizards with wings. A far cry from what I would deem to be a dragon. This is why so many power fantasies disappoint me, I suppose. So many want it easy.
I think I'd have an easier time believing it if it were consensual and the draik in question were willing. At least, if such ease is desired.
I find things would be much more interesting with the victory handed to the dragon, whose power befits it; or at the very least an effort which believably defies a dragon's cleverness.
Dragons aren't mere maidens, after all.
A nice comic, artistic talent to be sure. A writer could help a little with the plot, though.
