Hypnotizing Haruhi is quite possibly the most dangerous idea one could have. She's already crazy enough when she's in control of herself, imagine the problems that could start popping up if someone hypnotize her. All someone would have to do is say "Now, Haruhi, I want you to just imagine the world fading away, there's no need to do anything but listen to my voice..." And then the world could actually fade away. Goodbye Earth, nice knowing you.
