What is disturbing about it? Her murderous look? Might indeed have been a little softer, but she's pretty crazy when she does martial arts (which she doesn't do a lot in the manga/anime).

the entire kuno family is considered twisted, in series - honestly, kodachi and tatewaki have all but try to take advantage of/rape Akane and Ranma several times in series, acting roughly like its their noble right and the intended victim should be pleased
