Some in-game connections time.

Sweet Scent - While it lower enemy evasion in-battle, outside of it it's used to lure wild pokemon (starting battle) in areas where there are any.

Teeter (Dance) - Confuses everyone adjacend to user. Friend or foe.

Attract - Cmon. Anyone here who doesn't know how it works? Shame on you.

Ingrain - Heals user every turn, and prevents switching out. In this case it got plot-only power, however.
