The Hestia hype is insane. I think it's even stronger than it was with Ryuuko from Kill La Kill, who also had an explosive amount of fanart, but she was backed up by KLK being really popular and ridiculous. I watched this show because of the hype and I mean, she's definitely a cute, likable character, but how on earth did she get almost 1000 images on Danbooru in the past eight days? Is it the ribbon?
Cause as you said Hype I usually stay away from Hype anime as they're extremely cliche or just redos of the past. KLK,AOT, and AKG I all tried but just couldn't stand at all. Haha I don't know who this girl is though she is cute better then Ryuko or Man Face Satsuki could ever be =P

Attack On Titan wasn't for everyone, I'll admit.
Akame Ga Kill was just terrible. It started off with potential but slowly plummeted in quality to become a lesser B-rate anime. They should have stuck to the source material rather than splitting off around halfway into the series. Apparently, the source material is much better written than the path the anime took.
The Hestia hype is insane.
No kidding! I've never seen an anime character get so much hentai, let alone fanart, so quickly! At least, not in recent years. There's already more hentai of her than of some lesser-known Touhou characters. @_@
On a related note: when I saw how quickly fanart for this series was being pumped out, I immediately came here and tested to see if the series' really long name would actually fit in a tag in our site's software. I was afraid it would be so long that it might cause a bug or something. <.<
I was relieved to find that the name fit fine, question mark and all.

Kill La Kill can be enjoyed by anyone, really. Especially those who like over-the-top fights, genre-referential humor, and subtle/not-so-subtle references to Trigger's work when they were still with Gainax. Really, the only reason why you couldn't enjoy KLK is if you have a stick up your butt for one reason or another.
AoT is decent, but gets repetitive. I think one of the reasons why it got so popular is because it came out during the current 'Moe Blob' period, so you've got an over-exaggerated response and bandwagon effect for it. Otherwise, it's just a decent anime.
I heard about the AGK manga actually extending beyond what the anime covered, and having additional characters. I honestly enjoyed the anime, though it did feel rushed the last five episodes (still love Esdeath), so I can see how fans who were there since the manga would be pissed off about the anime's outcome. Could've been better.
Anyway, I'm enjoying DanMachi (and Hestia) thus far, so hypno/corruption art this soon is good news to me. :D
