This is the only thing she's actually good for hell even Mashima realizes it, haha FT is such a low manga and Lucy is even lower then that useful for nothing but fanservice the series would've been better if she did get sold at the begining

Please don't start another flame war. Calling a popular Manga/Anime "low" and insulting the characters. As for her purpose, it's not fanservice, it's the heroine in distress, where even her magic is just people saving her. As for fanservice, the series uses a system that on any non-plot episodes they give all the females fan service. Lucy just gets the most since she's the main female.

Just stating my opinion =P and haha I'm not the only who feels like that. I have a few characters I like from the series but it's a gut punch to get through a chapter anymore it's just dreadful. To be truthful could you call Lucy a heroine she's really just a damsel who acts tough then gets the shit beaten out of her. I don't watch the anime so I don't know what you mean by that but even during serious fight scenes or when she tries to be useful it's interupted for fan service the last two chapters being a big example
