Basically, in the original show, every digimon was tied to a digivice. In the season that introduced Renamon, a digimon's trainer could scan cards through their digivice to give their digimon abilities (speed, special attacks, ect). Yawg has frequently depicted Renamon and Krystal as knowing each other. It seems that to prank Renamon, Krystal arranged for Renamon's digivice to fall into some random guy's hands and is using cards to make Renamon throw herself at him.
