I once tried to get a game (visual novel) with a similar fruit because I hoped it could cause some kind of mind control, but later from cg, it seemed if there was anything it would not be worth it, so I gave up.

I think the idea is they've eaten the fruit and are thus hypnotized... like I said at the top, not quite the right logic.... plus it'd kill Hancock.

I don't think this is meant to be a Devil Fruit, since there are clearly two of the thing there.

Ah, fair point... Though, I remember the giraffe one (I think) being a bunch of bananas... but, no, I think you're right. Doesn't look like a Devil fruit now that I think about it, skin's not right.
