I'm not even all that well versed with digimon, and yet I still really enjoyed this. So that gives you an idea of the quality of it!

definitely more diverse than Pokemon. seriously, they reused the same basic plot and characters for years, and never age the main character. seriously, by this point, Ash should be a teenager. Digimon actually age their characters and use a different plot every season with a whole new cast. I mean, season four had the Digidestined become Digimon.

Actually, if you do the math Ash should be late 20s to early 30s by now.

Well if you figure that Pikachu has had two canon birthdays, he should at least be 12.

there's another problem. By the time of Unova, Pikachu should be able to beat a Mewtwo with one hit, and yet he has trouble against a new Snivy.
