Is there anyone familiar with Overwatch that can tell me if there's some sort of obscure cannon proof of MC in this image, or some such?

It's explicitly stated that she was brainwashed yet again in the source, meaning she went under that same Neural conditioning process that turned her into an Assassin, only this time re-purposed yet again.

Not to mention that collar being wired to her headpiece seems indicative of some sort of tech control.

We don't typically go solely by what the artist claims in the description. The image typically must support the existence of MC in some way.

Alright, I'll undo the deletion and let it slide. Between the (hardly visible, but still existent) wires running from collar to helmet, her official backstory involving brainwashing, and the artist's description, enough people will probably see this as MC to be kept.

Why again? Reprogramming her as both assassin AND sex slave at the same time works as well. I mean it's not like the organization use her to assassinate people 24/7. During her down time they can always use her as their cum dump. With Winter Soldier since he's a dude they put him in the freezer during his down time (unless there's gay Russian officer) but it's such a waste to put a girl that hot in a freezer.
