I made three fairly crude manips in late 2006--only two still exist. The middle one, which I think was titled Small Fry, was about a younger girl wanting to join her older friend in a harem, but being let down gently by a principled (and patient) grownup 'tist. Innocent enough--but the suggestion of pedophilia, even explicitly rejected, violated the old Collective's TOS, and it was deleted.

My only concern is how small the text is. Other than that, it's a pretty good text manip.

That, and the font makes it hard to see the color of the girls' lines--plus, somewhere along the line I evolved the ability to see kerning, and I'm going a little crosseyed. Otoh, Perky Veteran Slave is clearly a precursor to my Hypnodragon OC, Elmont--interesting to see how consistent my taste in girls is.

ANYWAY, the Manip. Actually a pretty good story. The image is a good choice; the "blank the eyes one color" is kind of a less sophisticated move, but it's from the early days of manip, when there was so little content and not a lot of methods, so it's fairly good for the time. The text issue can be attributed to the same thing; we just didn't have the tools readily available at the time. All in all very good.

Yeah, my primary experience with editing software has been airbrushing a set of bat wings off of Flandre Scarlet so she could stand in for Lulu's April Fools bimbo phase--I'd say I'm more a writer than an artist, but I haven't done any writing in a long while, either. Hmm...
