It depends. Crystal has more similarities to the manga series.

I like it, personally, but it's a heck of a lot dramatic than the old versions.

Time to be picky on something stupid: I think Sailor Moon should not have those white things on her head, chronologically speaking.
Or, to be more in the context, if she has an appearance that mean more girls have been introduced, then more girls should be on the pic xD

Except the characters in Crystal are bland beyond all belief, that the drama comes off as poorly witten shit.

Got to say. I tried hard to like Crystal. Treated as it's own entity. But I found the writing pure drivel.

Not to mention how very little characterization there was thanks to the ridiculously fast plot. And I especially hate how the Inners are constantly portrayed as useless and irrelevant.
