What exactly makes this mind control and not just a pre-rape scene?
The character talking to her is Purple Man (Killgrave), whom has "body control" abilities.

First off, that's indicated how, other than dialogue colour? Secondly...and? He may have them, but I don't see anything that shows he's using them, for one, and for two, if just immobilizing someone who is perfectly conscious and thinking normally counts as MC, then I can go find some great bondage pics (that are apparently MC now).

I guess this would only count based on knowing the characters/story outside this pic, otherwise I do agree as far as it being a bit of a bad representation of showing off this guy's MC powers. Arguably, controlling a person's body against their will (or while they're aware of them not being in control) can count as MC, yet an example like this post limits it to what might as well be only paralysis. If it were an extended comic I figure we'd be given more evidence of this kinda stuff going on, but as it is now it could've done a better job...

You can argue whether or not body control counts as MC (although the fact that it has a well-populated tag here seems to indicate it does) but the fact that she's cursing him at the same time she grabs her legs and spreads on command actually seems like a pretty good cue that something's going on!

My problem is that there's no indication whatsoever of how she got into that position. She could have been commanded, threatened, telekinetically posed... There's no visible signs of mind control in the picture, though; there's no vacant expression, her eyes are normal, no glow around the body, rings or energy in the air, etc... Anything at all would make all the difference in making this definitely mind control, whereas right now I would have no trouble in believing that she's being held at gunpoint.

Like in many other pics in this site, the MC is only clear to those who know the characters and story behind them. It happened a couple of times the MC is not obvious to me because i don't know the source, but i don't have a problem with that, i just assume it is because it's in this site (also, i usually don't look at pics from a source i'm not familiar with, as even if i can clearly see the MC i'm unaware of the character's context).
Even if people who are not familiarized with them can't see it, that doesn't make this less mind control-y, so it belongs here.
This is not the first image which requires you to be familiar with the content it's parodying, nor will it be the last.
PS: In the show, Killgrave doesn't hace body control, but full mind control.
