Can't say for sure what Myuk has planned, but if this was a visual novel...yeah, I'd be getting a death flag vibe. Only thing missing from it is talk of wanting to see a wife and kids after this is all over. :P

Anyway, this is kind of cute, Myuk.

Oh all of you hush. I'm sure this is all just a setup for a happy ending where everyone gets out of this okay. Right...right? ;_;

In all seriousness, I'm envisioning less of a "one of them gets brutally murdered" and more of a "one of them gets hardcore mind-controlled by some new antagonist to the point where they can't even remember their friend exists, culminating in a 'Battle in the Center of the Mind' to get them back" sorta deal.
