But seriously, can we possibly remove the voting system altogether? I don't understand the point of it, especially as favorited pieces are just automocally upvoted it seems. That, and I figure that the comments have usually been a great way to gage the general reception to a post...

The best part is that you don't even get anything for getting a million upvotes on this site really, so there's no point in withholding sources from things you didn't even make (judging by the author name) to try and desperately whore for votes.

I would hazard they wanna put themselves in the 'popular' results, but that's only because I can't think of any other possible benefit. It's not like you even get an accurate impression of anything when you're essentially trying to blackmail people into artificially pumping up the score, after all...

Wait you're fuckin me right? you're trying to get upvotes on "Incredibly okay" art, with a very specific fetish, that just pertains to some people, is a huge turn off to others and then adding in a way of acting that makes people hate you for it?
