Heart eyes don't mean there is MC. Artists use them to show the pleasure felt by the character.

Just ask the artists, 90% of the time, you'll get a "... No there's no hypnosis, you weirdo."

But if that's how things work here, then ok. Guess I have to accept it.

I remember, a long time ago, wayyy back on Hypnochan, there was a post titled something like "Love Is Hypnosis" in which heart eyes were the focus. In that thread, there was some talk about how love increases suggestibility, and a debate on if and how that was much different than hypnosis.

Based on this, also quite some time ago, Mindwipe and I (before he retired) decided to allow heart eyes as one of the many allowed eye effect symbols of MC on the site.

So, yeah, heart eyes are allowed. It's just not very commonly used as the only sign of MC. :P
