....Did whoever translated this necessarily NEED to use *that* terminology to transcribe this meaning into English?

And now, i'm not really trying to censor it, i'm just kinda questioning that particular choice.

I happen to know that based on the Japanese terminology of homosexual terms as far as I recall, doesn't NEED to have any words like "Faggot" associated, when something more along the lines of a less acerbic or vulgarly slanted slur would have been equally as equivalent.

I mean I really like this and all, generally speaking, and it's incredibly cute looking, and stuff, but I highly question this particular translation choice. And mind you, this is the same general criticism I often have of fansubs that go overboard with constant vulgarities for "lower politeness levels" in speech, too, just for the sake of it. So it's not just something i'm saying to be a PC nut, I just think there could have been a more neutral or reasonable way to go about it.

Still nice though. :)

For context, the guy doing the hypnotizing is basically doing it to emasculate his brother because he's jealous that he's more popular with the opposite sex. So the terminology actually fits in story.

Out of curiosity, did you READ the doujin before criticizing the word choice?

So seeing this page out of context this is funny af and pushes a lot of my buttons. (I used to call myself straight before I started getting into the whole hypnofetish, now I have pretty much as much experience with other guys as I do ladies.) then I saw the rest of the comic, and it's actually kinda distracting how much they reuse the language, It'd be more appropriate if they were going for more of a humiliation but that's not the case so ehh. Though it does highlight how much of an ass the older brother is... it's also still pretty sexy... like "n-ni ni let's kiss" unf.

also "Descend into faggotry" is my new favorite sentence.

And for that reason, if there was important context I missed due to that, then I accept 100% fault for that. I was only going on this one hub submission here. My bad.
