You made the grave mistake of bringing real world mythology into this.

Hypnos had no association with either hypnosis or coins. In fact he has no artifacts of any sort associated with him. One of his sons, Morpheus has a blanket that can put people to sleep but that's about it.

Now who honestly said I was referring to our world's Ancient Greek deity? ^^ I'm inserting yet another piece of lore that is uncannily similar to our legends that is just a bit different.

In my head, this Hypnos was actually the first trainer to teach his Drowzee to evolve.

I mean there's no Greece in Pokemon... Yet they still have Minnesotan Vikings
