I am finally back and recoverd (Not that someone missed me... :p).

This is cute, but I don't understand what's happening. Why are they on hammocks? Why are they lying on them like that? What hypnotized them? What is the "DRRING DRRING" sound? Why does one have earbuds, but the other doesn't? Where are they? Please explain the concept of this pic.

Its probably that the sub is sunken so deep that the body goes completely limp and, even if unconfortable, they are too mindless to care/notice or resist so that gravity does the rest... Their minds are completely gone, their body totally relaxed and unable to resist in any way (even to gravity): Its basicly the direct opposite of catalepsy, which, like aforementioned isn't reachable (or endurable) with an awake conciousness.
(At least thats it for me...)

The basic concept is: They are hanging around in their rooms, receive a call (via phone) [upper panels], and the audio of the call put them into a trance [lower panels] with the phones falling out of their hands. (The basic sketches had them in two actual rooms with basic furniture and shown phones but I gave the artist total freedom in desiging the background which ended in these more sureal sceneries...)
Anyway, the hammocks were choosen too enable these poses without going completely unrealistic (e.g. floating) and, as said above, in earlier sketches they fitted to the rooms they were in.
