"Excuse me, but might you be Shantae, the famed Guardian Genie?"
Shantae turned to the man who had called out to her, a clearly awe-struck young man who was good on the eyes, "Yes, I am Shantae, what can I do for you?"
"Well," he nervously began, "I've recently come into the possession of a peculiar magical item, and I was wondering if you could help me figure out exactly what it does."
"Sure," Shantae said, "what exactly is this item?"
"This," the young man explained, as he took out a golden pendulum and began to swing it, "According to the man I purchased it from, the magic is activated by swinging it before the eyes of a beautiful woman, such as yourself, and having her watch it closely."
Shantae blushed briefly at being called beautiful by a handsome young man, replied, "Alright then, let's see what happens." As she watched the pendulum swing, Shantae began to feel strange: She found her eyes fixed on the pendulum and her mind gradually blanking with each time the pendulum swing back and forth... back and forth... back and forth...
Soon enough, Shantae's face slacked and her eyes fogged over as she continued to watch the swinging pendulum. Smiling at his success, the young man began, "Shantae, can you hear me?"
"Yes..." Shantae responded, her voice lacking any emotion or thought.
"Good." the young man's smile grew bigger, "Listen closely to me Shantae: You are in my power. Anything I tell you is absolutely true. Alright?"
"Yes," Shantae thoughtlessly agreed.
"Good. Now, listen closely Shantae: I am your master, you are my slave, you will listen and obey. You live only to serve and please me."
"You are my master, I am your slave, I will listen and obey," Of course, Shantae's entranced mind thought, it made perfect sense what this man had said. "I live only to serve and please you," again, it seemed perfectly reasonable that her only purpose was serving and pleasing.
"That's good Shantae. Now, I want you to stripe for me. Take off your top and bottom so I can get a good look at my beautiful new slave." As Shantae began taking off her clothes, her eyes never leaving the pendulum as it swung, her master's smile grew even bigger still, "And after we've fooled around a little, why don't we show your friend Sky the pendulum? And later, we can track down Risky Boots and show it to her? Don't those sound like great idea's Shantae?"
"Yes master," Shantae mindlessly agreed as she presented her bare bosom and luscious legs to her master.
"Best fortune I ever spent."
