The biggest problem is that a lot of the vines require a bit more feeling of depth and volume to them.

Note the pair second highest from the top. They're looking as if they're paper thin and flat. Adding more detailing and shading would allow for the feeling of them having some degree of volume. With a goo creature you have to go with more thinking of them as being more akin to hoses in how they can flex or at least in how they feel shading as they've got fluid within (because all slimes/goos are like Jell-o and Jello isn't completely flat ever)

I'd also suggest shifting the one to the head slightly back. I think you're going for the ear but the location seems to hint it might be hitting the temple instead (unless that was the target originally)
