I admit I know practically nothing about the Queen's Blade franchise, but I happened to come across this and had to post it. Apparently this is some spinoff series with girls based on old folk tales, this one obviously based on the Pied Piper of Hamelin.

I'm kinda surprised I never heard anyone bring her up here before. It's a franchise full of beautiful scantily clad women and they introduced a character with mind control abilities whose main goal is to enslave other women and add them to her harem.

Ooooh! Despina! Yeah, I remember hearing about her, like, ten months ago. Looking forward to when Queen's Blade: Grimoire finally introduces her.

Which should be at least another year, judging by the time that passed between episode one and two of QB:G. Still, Queen's Blade is good for some MC/corruption stuff. Menace, in particular, is an undead Egyptian-like queen who is trying to rebuild her kingdom, and uses hexes to control attractive women to do so. :3

There are a couple of PC/console games that are exclusive to Japan for the series, and I think there's a crowdfunded card or table top game as well. But it's mostly a manga/light novel/anime series.

One of the larger forms of Queen's Blade is actually a series of books for the Lost Worlds book-based battle system ( www.flyingbuffalo.com/lostw.shtml ). Besides being books full of art of the characters, it's fully compatible with the other Lost Worlds books - meaning if you hate a character, you can beat the crap out of them as a T-Rex. :D
