Shiny Salazzle will be utter hell to get, since when you finally get a Shiny Salandit there's only a 1/8 chance of it being female.

No it does not. I've heard that ally chaining is the fastest way to shiny hunt now, though, and cute charm will work on that (I'm guessing, since I've heard synchronize does)
