I had to go find the original picture to figure out what you had done, so good job making the manip look natural, but couldn't you have found a better Pit picture to use? This is an earlier work, and kinda rough.

I didn't pay much attention to the art style. I pay more attention to the subject-content of the pic than the style. If it clicks with me at that moment, I go with it. The pose she has, the pulled up collared shirt and C on the skirt implying a parent/coach, the locker room, etc. It all seemed to click for a nice little story that didn't need much explanation in the way of text.
