Here's the story I wrote (Somehow, since I'm not a writer. Then again I was tranced out when I wrote it so...) that the artist based the picture off of. Enjoy~

*The Real Dream*

It was Jay's first time... no, not that first time. It was his first time dabbing into the realm of hypnosis. He wasn't quite sure what to expect, and honestly, he had his doubts about the whole thing, but Tikka had assured him that it would be an experience unlike anything he had ever known. Having been close friends for some time, and having a major crush on her although he was way too shy to tell her, he put his full faith in her claim. She was a gypsy after all. So what was the worst that could happen?

She had him lie down on a very plush bed as she sat beside him. He could hear a comforting purr emanate from her as she leaned over him and gazed into his eyes. "Okay kitty." She said in an unusually soothing and singular tone, having pulled out an ornate pocket watch that had belonged to her great grandfather. "Just relax, listen to my voice..." She started to slowly swing the watch in front of Jay. The shiny gold surface was immaculate for something that old, with small diamonds forming the shape of a crescent moon on the front that glistened just right under dim light of the room. "...and let your mind drift as your awareness of the world around you slowly slips away."

Jay's green eyes followed the path of the pendulum with an increasing focus as he took slow, deep breaths. As he continued to breath, he didn't feel anything out of the ordinary, well, other than a surprising sense of calmness washing over him, but as he continued to watch, his focus on the watch grew incredibly sharper. And after a few more moments, he had started to slip into a state of trance. Losing all sense of awareness: his body, where he was, who he was with, what he was doing. Even time itself seemed to stop...

After what seemed like a mere moment, his awareness started to came back, but it felt like he was waking up from a dream. His body and mind were slow to respond, but he willed himself to come to. Tikka was still sitting next to him, smiling as she asked him if he had slept well. Jay blinked, a bit confused as to what had happened. "Was that just a dream? It sure felt like it.." He asked himself before looking back to Tikka. "I'm not sure... I think so. What jus-..."

She grinned as she gently stroked his head. "Good kitty~" And just like that Jay was out once again. The trigger she had instilled into his subconcious had taken perfectly. "Rise from the bed, my beloved kitty. Then face me, and get onto your knees." She whispered softly into his ear. "It's time for this good kitty to be collared by his loving owner." Jay rose and did as she had instructed, with earnest. "Yeeeess~" He purred, kneeling quite comfortably before her as she lovingly stroked his head, causing him to purr happily as he blankly gazed up at her like any good pet should. Draping the black, fur lined collar around his neck, she secured the clasp so that it fit just right.

"Mmm, such a good kitty, you are. You know, I love you too, Jay. I've loved you since the day we met. I know you are too shy to tell me and that's okay. It's cute~ I hope this makes things easier for you~" She smiled and pet his head again. "You can wake up now~" The glaze faded from his eyes. Blinking a few times, he looked around, feeling a rush of warmth and happiness that he couldn't explain as he looked back at Tikka. This time he remembered everything, but again if felt like it had been just a dream. It took a moment for him to notice that he really was kneeled before her and that there was a very comfortable collar wrapped around his neck.

"No way..." He whispered in awe, as a full on blush lit up his face. Tikka giggled and pulled him into a firm, loving hug. "It's all true, my kitty. I do love you and I want you to be mine forever." Jay was speechless as he embraced the hug, a stream of tears running down his face. He was so overcome with emotions that he couldn't help it. The fact that she knew how he felt, and took it upon herself to show him that she felt the same in a way that he would never see coming, was unbelievable - and he couldn't be happier. Before he knew it, the words just came from his mouth, like he had said it countless times before. "I love you, Tikka~"

-The End.

That's so beautiful. I love the way you describe the emotions. That's such an important part of the fantasy for me. To be wanted and held.

Writing while in trance... I didn't even consider that possible until now, but it makes sense. Kind of makes me wonder how well, or even what, I'd write in such a state. What was it like?

It probably depends on the person and how deep you go. I've even seen a few artists talk about drawing while in trance/hypnosis. But in my case, I guess it was probably more of unintended self hypnosis (I wasn't trying to hypnotize myself as I was just getting into this at the time)? Because I needed to write a story, I put on some binaurals I had recently found, and next thing I knew I had typed out this story but I couldn't remember actually typing it. It's like the words just came out, because normally I have a really hard time doing such things like writing and drawing because my mind draws a blank on what to do.
