Not really. The witch dancer was just some random dancer for some dark summoning ritual in the opening cutscene and (as far as I've played) is never seen again. Alnet (the other girl) and carl are just some of the villagers you rescue throughout the game.

The one female is the Witch Dancer, because the ritual needed blood from witches and humans to work.
