That's a lot better for viewing, however, you still did not optimize for gif animation (difference). There is an option for that in Gimp (and I am sure Photoshop has this as well).

I tested it with your Image and while maintaining the exact same quality, I could get this animation down to a filesize of 177kb (that is a 96% reduction in filesize) ...
