I'm confused as whether or not to tag this as "pet-play" as the peace sign is often used when under hypnosis, the artist could be doing something clever by having her act as a "crab" due to her backstory in Bakemonogatari. What does anyone else think?

Oh yeah, that pose. I thought it could be that, but with the lack of an Ahegao face, there also seems to be a difference in the finger's position. Most of the other pictures show the v facing the viewer. However, these "v"'s seem to be just facing the sides of her head. I'm still convinced that it could possibly be a crab "pet play" picture due to the context the crab has with her in the show.

I think she's pretty clearly pretending to be a crab. The crouching is a dead give away, alongside a 'v' sign that isn't flat forward facing. They look like they're acting as 'scissors', or claws, I guess.

The Japanese loooove Bakemonogatari, and the animals the girls represent come up a lot in fan art, even in fetish stuff.
