though i've only seen one episode i'm more inclined to believe that its just something people like to draw.

If Astruc wants to follow the traditional path of the magical girl show, it'll be part of a story that results in the end of a villain.

However since the mantles are all passed down Garo-style I could also see it as a reason to make Marinette the new main villain and introduce a new Miraculous holder, maybe even a new Ladybug, as the hero.
