From artist: Dawn always had a pure heart, and a healthy mentality, she always had desires of hope; and for this "Adara" the entity of hope, has chosen her to be its host. I alex, com first "blue lantern" that appeared after the great massacre on the planet Odym (by Alice and the lantern network), I must meet the new blue lantern group so that together we send the message of hope to all the universe, on behalf of Adara.

ironically, the idea of brainwashing is something red lanterns would find infuriating, they're more "Doomguy's wrathful smiting" than "slavering angry beast"

I always thought that they /all/ did, to varying extents. If I remember correctly there were some behavioral changes when If not them, then the Light they empower warps the minds of those who would wield it. On the other hand, it could just be Lantern Corps training and Larfleeze being absolutely crazypants...

Well, okay, maybe he was crazypants all along, but Lex Luther got an Orange Power Ring in Blackest Night and it definitely drove him a bit less subtly bonkers than usual. In regards to the Emotional Entities specifically, the Spectre mentioned something about them having too much influence over living beings when he was trying to hunt them down

Regardless, it's good to see my Corps getting some representation here! Truly the Brightest Day here on Hypnohub for us Blue Lanterns... although we can only hope to see more in the future! :D
