Emilie was a doll maker that was brainwashed and turned a doll herself by an unknown assailant. Surprisingly her memories remained during the attack and as soon as she gained the the chance she assaulted her attacker and began to turn them into a doll them self. Unfortunately at some point during the struggle the assailant managed to slip a strange mask on her face which seemed to activate the large ornate windup key on her back. While she did manage to defeat her attacker the key eventually stopped, her body ceased to move and and her world went black.

Years later she was discovered by a young Corvo, who decided to explore a rundown factory. While briefly shocked by her appearance and the half transformed corpse nearby, he let curiosity get the better of him and wound up the key on the lifeless doll. Slowly springing back to life, she began to set upon continuing to turn the now dead attacker into a doll, and ignoring the person behind her.

Confused as she continued to mutilate the now dead body, and all attempts to get her attention seemed to fail till he finally commanded her to stop. Almost instantly she stopped, but showed no other reaction. Coming up with an idea he commanded her to look at him, and once again she responded instantly, turning to him with masked face and eerie golden eyes. Kneeling down he removed the mask and jumped when she suddenly grabbed a hold of him. His immediate fear was quickly replaced with worry as she started to cry into his shoulder, the memories of everything that happened to her flooding back to her.

Now homeless and scopophobic she currently lives with the Darkfox family as a maid and dollmaker.

Yeah. Story is good but too dark for my taste.
